Crossover's last gig of 2009 is this Sat 19th Dec at the Borough Hotel (Liberty Belle) in Southend! Free Entry

CrossOver are an exciting pop, rock and soul covers band who enjoy putting their unique stamp on a huge range of songs from classic oldies to current radio hits. We are always adding to our repertoire and like to go into every gig armed with the kind of music that will make everyone have a great night out. Whether this be in a pub, club or at your special event.

We put a great deal of effort into what we do, from first contact with our clients planning an event, through to the end of the performance night. We want to see happy faces and dancing feet! With our tight musicianship, amazingly powerful female vocalist Leigh and Linda with her sweet harmonies we're sure to leave you wanting just one more encore!

Please visit our repertoire page for current list of songs which is being updated all the time. We are happy to learn requests for special events as long as we're given enough notice.

For booking information please visit our contact us page. When contacting us please provide as much detail as you can about your requirements so we can make yours an event to remember for all the right reasons. Our rates are very competitive.

We can also provide music in between sets, both with a talented in house pianist and/or our PA system.

LATEST NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OCT/NOV 2009        Recently the band have played gigs at Henley Crosskeys, The Minden Rose at Bury St Edmunds and a fab fancy dress party for halloween to support the ladies rugby team at the Bury Rugby Club! Look out for them at The Milestone in Ipswich on Friday 27th November 2009! There will be some new songs and surprises for our last pub gig of the year so make sure you all come along!
12/09/09        Crossover had a great night last night playing the support slot for national Bon Jovi Tribute act, The Bon Jovi Experience. The band that features Jon By Jovi who has actually sang with Jon Bon Jovi himself would have happily let us carry on into the night and they did love our version of Have A Nice Day which we cheekily slipped into our soundcheck! Crossover would like to send a big shout out of thanks to Mr Barry Everton (Baz "the axeman" Everton) who kindly stepped in for us as a dep guitarist on this gig and the previous gig.
06/09/09       We've returned from headlining Party In The Park that was held in the Epping Forest last night. Linda actually braved camping there too but that's another story. The band went down very well and braved the cold evening air to play all the favourites with dep guitarist Barry Everton. Crossover received some new requests too that are top secret but look out for them on our list soon!
16/08/09       After a scary night last week playing at the legion in Bramford without a guitarist (poor Karl was very ill) we think we managed to pull through and keep the Bramford posse fans very happy. Lovely to see so many people dancing including Mandy who is indeed Addicted to Love! Crossover had a wonderful gig last night at the Fox in Elmswell where they loved us so much they tried to keep us by blocking off the roads. A wonderful crowd and Leigh keeping us all entertained by asking Karl if he needed some fannage? Very kind of her to offer up her own fannage for those in need!
08/08/09       It's been a while since our last update and so much has happened. It is with great sadness we have to announce that we have parted ways with our guitarist, Lauren. We will all miss the detailed musicianship she has brought to the band for over 2 years and wish her all the best with her future projects. We're grateful that we have a great dep guitarist in Karl who is doing a wonderful job at the moment so no gig commitments will be changed. Crossover are currently looking for a full time replacement so watch for news on this shortly when we've found the right person for the job!
02/06/09       Wow May was a majorly busy month for CrossOver so the band are glad they have a couple of quiet weeks so they can put together some great new songs for you all. Watch this space as the band want to keep you guessing with what they'll do next as you know they like to be different! Thanks to everyone that came to see CrossOver in May, special thanks to Netty and the Ipswich Massive crew who managed two gigs on the trot ;) Roll on the next local gig at the Royal Oak!
05/05/09       It's been a while but we couldn't get up to too much trouble with Leigh out in Los Angeles. She had a great time while the rest of us enjoyed some fine UK sunshine for April, made a change! The band just played an awesome gig at The Bull in Colchester over the bank hols and are looking forward to going back soon. Next run of gigs sees a return to the Swan, Long Melford on 9th May and a newbie for us, The Station Hotel, Ipswich on 15th. Look forward to our local fans supporting us and new faces always welcome. Look out for some new songs this month including Dani California (very appropriate Leigh!), I Kissed A Girl, Thoughtless by Korn and maybe a spot of Canned Heat if we cook it well enough in practice this month.
01/03/09       Wow the demo recording is all finished and sounds awesome we must admit (not that we like blowing trumpets as we don't have any in our band). We're looking forward to some awesome gigs this month with O'Neills at Colchester, The Milestone, a charity event to play for Asthma UK and we're back at the Kings in Chantry where we love to play for the fantastic crowd in there. Please check out the recordings on our samples page or at www.myspace.com/crossovercovers
01/02/09       Thanks to everyone that was at the Swan in Long Melford last night. The crowd were great and really into it which always makes it more fun for us. Hope to see you all back at our 2 gigs later in the year. Check the gigs page for more details. Thanks to Jane at the Swan who's doing a great job since taking over. We're looking forward to playing at a newbie for us, The Hyneholt in Hainault, Essex. We realise it's a long way for our regulars to come though but we're looking forward to a great night there!
02/01/09       Happy New Year to everyone! It took us a whole day to recover from the fun of our New Years Eve gig at the Manor Social Club in Ipswich. Thanks to everyone that turned up and to our devoted fans who purchased tickets to see us (and not play bingo!!) We loved playing to a full dance floor and everyone was up for having a great time. Look forward to playing the Manor Club again in 2009.
21/12/08       Well xmas is almost upon us all and the crowd at The newly taken over Kingfisher at Chantry certainly felt the Christmas atmosphere. The band put 3 festive numbers in including their awesome version of Wizzard's Wish It Could Be Xmas Everyday! The band fought off illness to make sure the show went on and were pleased they did. Crossover have been asked to return on 10th Jan 2009 for a special Birthday Party at the pub but this is open to all so come along for a fantastic night. *******TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR NEW YEARS EVE AT MANOR SOCIAL CLUB - TEL:01473 400155 or CONTACT THE BAND FOR DETAILS **********
09/11/08       It's been a while since our last update. The band were busy learning songs for a special 70th Birthday party being held in Swindon. Consequently many new songs have been added to the repertoire list lately so please check it out! The band had a fun night playing back at the Swan Inn, Long Melford on 8th November. Just a shame the weather was so bad. We hope we kept the dedicated followers happy though with some requests of Lithium and Foo Fighters! The band are now gearing up for another party and the Xmas season. Leigh and Lauren can't wait to start playing MERRY XMAS SONGS but the others aren't quite as convinced!
22/09/08      Twas a busy week for the CrossOver crew playing gigs at both The Milestone and The Kingfisher. The Milestone wasn't as busy as the band had hoped but the band took the opportunity to air some new numbers they'd been working on. The band had an AMAZING night at THE KINGFISHER though on 20th. CrossOver would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone that was there supporting them, the crowd rocks at the Kingfisher and the band can't wait to return to play again on 20th December for a festive flavoured performance!
20/08/08      After having such a great gig at The Swan the band have been invited to play there again on Nov 8th! This will be a great night and the pub has a fantastic atmosphere so come out and support us!
05/08/08      CrossOver had a fabulous time playing to the very welcoming crowd at the Swan Inn, Long Melford. There are already 3 clips loaded on youtube for the gig at www.youtube.com/crossovergigs There were lads miming Aretha Franklin and standing on bar stools and some great female dancers which made the night memorable for the band. Definitely one of the most enjoyable nights so far! Look out for our return there soon.......................................................................
31/07/08      CrossOver would like to thank everyone that came out to see them at The Milestone tonight! The band really enjoyed the gig which was a little too hot for comfort at times but they still gave it their all! Thanks to Michelle at The Milestone too for some extra gigs. Check out the gigs page for the hot new dates. Also look out for video clips soon on our youtube channel at www.youtube.com/crossovergigs
17/07/08     Two more dates added for the band. They will be appearing at The Milestone in Ipswich on 31st July and at The Swan Inn, Long Melford on 2nd August. Both gigs start from 9pm. Come along and see the band's storming sets. We wanna see you there - yes I'm talking to you!
29/06/08     Last night CrossOver played at singer Leigh's anniversary bash to celebrate 10 years of marriage to husband Gethin. There were some great surprises including Linda and Lauren performing a couple of acoustic romantic numbers for the happy couple. Also the band noticed their fans getting younger and younger as you can see from this link: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=tVcoTrW5UjI
Linda thinks maybe the band should start playing maternity units if this keeps up! Check out the other new clips of acoustic songs on the repertoire page as usual!
31/05/08    CrossOver were very happy to be able to fill in for ACDC Tribute Act High Voltage on 30th May at the Railway Inn, Ipswich. The band put together a fantastic set in just a few hours notice and kept everyone happy despite missing the tribute band they were hoping to see!
All the members of CrossOver would like to wish the High Voltage singer a speedy recovery from the illness that caused them to cancel unexpectedly.
Also thanks to Ray at the Railway for thinking of us!
